1. Print & Prep: Print the pirate-themed cards and recording sheets. Laminate the cards for durability and tape them around the classroom.
2. Introduce the Task: Briefly introduce the pirate theme and explain that students will be finding and recording pirate-themed items. This step is super easy if you've already introduced write the room to your students.
3. Distribute Materials: Hand out clipboards and recording sheets to each student. Show students how to check the number to see where to write each item name down on their recording sheet.
