Summer Write the Room Bundle

Bring movement, seasonal fun, and hands-on shape practice into your classroom with this Summer Shapes Write the Room Activities Bundle! This collection includes six summer themed activities designed to help young learners recognize, read, trace, and write the names of common two-dimensional shapes.

Students will move around the classroom to find the summer themed shape cards, read the shape word shown on each card, and record the correct answer beside the matching letter on their recording sheet. Two recording sheet options are included, allowing students to write the words independently or trace them for additional support.

This active learning bundle helps students build shape recognition, geometry vocabulary, reading skills, handwriting skills, fine motor skills, and independence while giving them an opportunity to get up and move.

Simply print the cards and place them around the classroom. Students search for each card and write or trace the matching shape word on their recording sheet. The cards may also be used in a math center, pocket chart, sensory bin, scavenger hunt, or small group activity.
